The Encounter is a Christian television drama broadcast on the Great American Pure Flix streaming service. Based on the 2010 film The Encounter and its 2012 sequel Paradise Lost, the series-which ran for two eight-episode seasons from 2016 to 2020-features Bruce Marchiano reprising his role as Jesus Christ (aka The Man), who comes to the aid of various individuals in real, relatable scenarios.
