On her daughter's birthday, Maya works another shift as a waitress in a restaurant where time seems to be measured by orders, bells, and dishes to be served. While she tries to keep up with the exhausting pace of the day, Inés stays close by, waiting for small moments of attention amidst the daily chaos. Between customers, interruptions, and accumulated silences, the restaurant becomes a space where intimacy begins to fade. Throughout the day, Maya faces the difficulty of simultaneously inhabiting two places: the job that absorbs her and the motherhood that insists on demanding her presence.
