Requiem for a Mezzo
In March of 1923, writer Daisy Dalrymple takes a break from her work to attend a performance of Verdi's Requiem at the Albert Hall with Scotland Yard's Detective Alec Fletcher. At the performance the soprano falls dead on stage, killed by cyanide poisoning. Daisy and Fletcher launch an investigation. By the author of Death at Wentwater Court.
